The Golden Argosy

New York City, January 1970 - already a year has passed since Davy's arrival in Manhattan. It's also been six months since his escape from the clutches of his increasingly unstable mother.

When his father wins a trip to Rome, the boy - now fourteen - is faced with the exciting prospect of a voyage across the ocean. Even more enticing is the prospect of exploring a completely new place alongside Altschuler, who, fortunately, is joining Davy and his parents, much to the delight of the two young men.

Of course, first they must actually make it to their destination, something another of their fellow passengers intends to make sure doesn't happen.
