This world has long been divided. Between light and darkness, hope and destruction. On one side, the human world continues to move forward without looking back. Their cities expand, swallowing forests and rivers, leaving cracked land and burning skies. They call it progress, but the land itself whispers of something they have long forgotten. On the other side, in a place hidden between shadow and light, another world breathes silence. They call it Lumora-a world born of fragile balance. There, every tree has a memory, every river has a voice, and every open crevice is a bridge to a forgotten truth. But now, both worlds are beginning to shake. The cracks are growing. Light and shadow no longer fit together. The real world drags the other world into its destruction, and the hidden world struggles to survive with the remnants of harmony that remain. And between these two worlds, there is a guardian who never asked for this role. Issi. He does not know if he has come to save, or simply to bear witness to the inevitable destruction.

Please don't read this, I wrote it in middle school and it's really bad. I just don't want to delete it because some people might get mad at me ;-; Maybe someday I will rewrite it. "What kind of fairytale is this? Where's the happy ending?" The little girl, approximately 7 years old, asked her mother. "That's what I wanted to teach you May, you should know now, that life isn't always going to have a good end. Bad things are going to happen, and if you play them off and ignore them, it will only worsen," May's mother explained. May nodded slowly. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Once upon a time, is how most fairytales start. Then, they end with a happily ever after. But not this story... There once was a prince, who fell in love with a girl. But she wasn't a princess. She was the hand maiden of a nobleman's daughter, who had eyes for the young prince. The prince and girl fell in love, but couldn't be together, for the nobleman's daughter grew jealous when she found out, and ordered them to be killed. This story was called "The Lover's Curse." As it passed down, generation through generation, it became known as only a legend, a myth. But it was true. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ It's up to May and Drew to break the hold destiny has on them, to fight for their own way. Will they live their happily ever after, or die trying? +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Wow! This story was such an adventure for me. You can really tell the difference in my writing as time went on XD. I want to thank everyone who stuck with me through this story and supported me with their votes and sweet comments! I look forward to the next project!! YouDontKnowShipping
