Being used as a weapon and a tool by a faraway mistress who doesn't care about him in the slightest is weighing on Alastor more and more all the time, leaving him struggling with shame, self-loathing, and constant dissatisfaction. Desperate to feel cared for and to know he can be used for something other than chaos and bloodshed, he goes to Angel looking for direction. Control. In a word: domination. Being the professional he is, Angel gives him all that and more...and soon starts to develop a not-so-professional attachment to their dynamic.
Unfortunately, neither of them is fully free to pursue it, and some chains are much harder to break than others.
