A Darth Vader Romance Kat I am no one. A shadow. Insignificant. Or at least, that's what I was taught to be. I could not have predicted that it was exactly this, the shell I lived inside, that would one day cause Darth Vader to pull me into his world, one of deceit, violence, and...love? Even Anakin couldn't have known that he would remove the scales off of my shell, little by little, until I was standing before the Empire with nothing to hide behind. But as I stood in the light, it is the appearance of my own shadow that was least expected. It turns out, the closer one gets to the spotlight, the bigger their shadow. --- Anakin There was a time when I believed in the Jedi. For a while, I believed in the Sith, too. If a woman brought down my faith in one, I suppose it is only right a woman would bring down the other, too. But, I'm better this time. Older. Experienced. Knowledgeable. I wouldn't give up everything for a woman again, right? Wrong. You see, with Padmé, I feared the danger she put herself in. I rarely encouraged her to fight harder, encouraged her use her talents and charisma. Sometimes I even disagreed with her ideals. And it is that mistake, among many, that I will not be making again. If Kitten wants to show her claws, her targets need only look behind her to see my shining eyes preparing to clean up the mess. It might be fun, were it not for the sheer size of her messes. TW/ CW: this is still a bit dark, though not on the same level as Vader's Fortress. He's still a shadow daddy, don't worry!
