Ayla Avery, a Ravenclaw witch from a pureblood family, ambitious, intelligent, and with ideals different from those of the highly conservative family by which she is not looked upon favorably, including being the first Avery not to be a Slytherin. Ayla runs into Fred Weasley, a Gryffindor with a large family, the opposite of Ayla's, who describes them as traitors to their own blood. The two are literally polar opposites, but there is one thing the two share: when their gaze meets, an unconditional smile is created on both of their faces. The two will have to fight to show their smiles among the shadows.
