WINTER EMERSON was living a normal life. Winter, the girl with the summer personality, the dedicated gymnast and fashionista. And, with her best friends, AMELIE BARDET and Violet at her side, nothing could go wrong. At least, until Violet's disappearance. All of a sudden, there are news vans all throughout Thornwood, desperate for information on the disappearance of Violet, and three other boys who all went missing within the week. With her whole world tipped on its axis, Winter becomes hyper-focused on one thing. Finding out what happened to Violet.
MATTEO PETERS spends his life playing football, hanging out with his friends and being in love with Winter. Of course, she doesn't know this. But he will help her with anything, and together they are an unstoppable team. So when Violet goes missing, of course he and his friends offer their help to find her. Because, from a group of teenagers' point of view, what're the police going to do? Nothing. And, with Winter by his side, and their ride or die friend group, Violet shouldn't be missing for long. But, this is all pretty inconvenient to Amelie, who just so happens to be excellent at hiding her psychopathy, and is not only responsible for Violet's disappearance, but the other three missing boys from Thornwood.
