Nika and Ellie were inseparable during grade school, doing everything together. But after Nika suddenly kisses Ellie the summer before Ellie's senior year, she disappears for four years. Since then Ellie has been playing on the Virginia Tech women's basketball team, but can't seem to find her role and neither can the coaches. The transfer portal is calling her name, and UConn takes their chance to pick up another player to round out their injury-riddled roster. Neither girl knows what's coming until the first day of practice and it's too late for Ellie to back out. Can Ellie get the truth out of Nika while maintaining her grades and shooting percentage?
