Betty Grimes and the Thermadore Thief

Eleven years before Harry's first year of Hogwarts, Betty, a first year student prepares her academic journey not for the prestigious Ilvermorny school of witchcraft and wizardry, but something lesser known: the academy of Thermadore in Pittsburgh.

And at the cost of her own happiness, she accepts this fate. But when she, along with three fellow students, confronts a guest unwelcomed on school grounds, she soon realizes she cannot only be distressed by the monotony of school life in a less reputable school, but the impertinence of the school's leaders with their decision to lay the blame of the confrontation aftermath on her and them. Severe enough to justify their expulsion.
