An Artist's Anthology

Poetry is a reminder that art isn't just being able to make something that looks good.
Art is having the sight of an artist.
Being able to look at a leaf and see all its pretty colors rather than just green. To see its beauty.
Art is having the mind of an artist.
Being able to look at the grass and imagine different shapes as the wind blows through it. To imagine a story.
Art is having the heart of an artist.
Being able to look at anything and everything and feel emotion. To feel the art.
When I say I'm an artist, I don't mean I'm good at art. I mean that I feel, see, and think like an artist. It is who I am.

NOTICE: An Artist's Anthology is a series of poems that I have written from 6th-12th grade. Most of these were written to be songs, especially in the beginning, so feel free to use as lyrics with credit to me :)
