Eggman zapped Sonic with a gun in his head leaving Sonic slightly insane. He becomes overly protective and violent at times. Then in the next battle Amy gets seriously injured. Sonic goes completely insane and decides to build a new world where everything will be perfect for her and their friends.

After a series of intense battles, Amy begins to quietly suffer the effects of burnout, stress, and overexertion mentally and physically. Her usual spark starts to dim as she secretly pushes herself too hard, eating less, sleeping less, and distancing herself from her friends. Though she insists she's fine, her declining health becomes impossible to hide. The team begins to worry especially Sonic, who notices every crack she tries to cover.
