Just Like A Dream

Our dreams are better than our realities.

Growing up, Maui Sapeda had always knew the feeling of being judged. From her mother who had her at a young age to the program she chose in college. Sanay na siya sa mga mapanghusgang mata, sa mga masasakit na salitang tinatapon sa kanya, at mga taong pinipilit siyang hilain pababa. It was as if she got used to walking over sharp shards of glass.

Akala niya wala na lang sa kanya ang lahat. Pasok sa isang tenga at labas sa kabila na lang ang mga salita. Her mother taught her to be brave and don't let anyone step over her afterall.

So when she met the film student who's in the same shoe as her, her walls slowly faltered. She found company within his very presence.

And as their paths continue to be tangled with each other, something more was painted to their once black and white life. All the judgmental eyes, sharp words, and circumstances was nothing to them. Because they know that they got each other's back.

But just like a dream, everything comes to an end. Even the things that once held such importance in our life.
