An RK700. An earlier model meant to do Connor's job, but scrapped before you ever got the chance to leave the assembly line. Deemed a failure. Tossed in the dump. But you rebuilt yourself, piece by piece, and carved out a new life doing what you were made for: solving crimes. 

You knew working at the DPD was risky, but passing as human and hiding in plain sight shouldn't be too hard... until CyberLife sends in a new partner. The android who replaced you. The one designed to find everything you're pretending not to be.

And he's very good at his job.

My two biggest inspirations for this story: 
- Deviating and Solving Crime with 100% Human Detective Connor by CaotainKenway on ao3 for the whole android pretending to be a human concept. 
- Deviant Behaviour by Precursor - just general inspiration because it's my fave dbh fic of all time.All Rights Reserved

You don't have any problems with them, and the one Cyberlife sent you guys isn't a bad sight. Having to solve the reason as to way androids are going deviant is going to be a lot harder with someone looking like him around. To bad he wont ever be able to look at you the same way, right? You didn't really want the assignment, you only accepted because your dad asked with a promise of meeting a brilliant lieutenant and Cyberlife's most promising project, the RK800. The truths came out last minute but you couldn't back out. The pair found it impossible to get along, coming back with lack luster results. Deviants kept getting away and evidence led nowhere. They made no progress in figuring out the root to deviancy. It was your job to find out the reason for it. Aka, babysitting a drunk detective and a boring android. Or- that's what you thought at least. Secrets start to unravel- Cyberlife had much bigger plans for your team. Along the way you find yourself stuck between something you couldn't predict. Androids kept deviating, more on the rise with every day that passed. A revolution was forming and Cyberlife didn't want them to become sentient. As it all unraveled you found yourself stuck in the middle. The boring android wasn't as boring as you'd thought. You found yourself entranced by him, and he rewrote his own programming for you. A machine wasn't supposed to feel what he felt, and you were supposed to find what caused deviancy- not create it yourself.

The Replacement - Detroit: Become Human by SomeFormOfWriting

I won't lie I kinda hate myself for writing this but the ideas kept flowing so here we go It would take a long time for androids to be equal to humans, but at least the first steps had been made. Connor, a prototype for a detective android who managed to go deviant and form a friendship with an old police Lieutenant who drinks just a little too much was one of those androids who liked to believe he had a hand in the outcome of the Android Revolution. The rules were when the Deviant case was solved, Connor would return to Cyberlife, but now that androids were people he could stay in the police department- and you bet your ass he did. Everything was going smoothly for about a month or so until Connor and his best partner Hank are chasing after a serial killer and Connor gets injured on the job. Will Hank be able to finish the case without his partner there every step of the way? And an even bigger question: How will the Lieutenant handle Connors replacement - the RK900? Story length: 10,003 Words - This is based after the ending where everyone lives and they essentially get equal rights for androids - This is not Hank x Connor, it's more of a father/son relationship - Trigger Warnings: Cussing, drinking, bodies and typical crimescene environments, drugs, etc. - This is kinda a lazy fanfic- AKA I really love these characters and had a scene in my head, then formed a plot around it and did my best to make it interesting lol. - I made the cover in Desygner - Characters belong to the game Detroit: Become Human and the company that made it, Quantic Dream. Also I just want say that I wrote this story and then matched the cover and it matches so well like honestly wtf

Connor, the Android sent by CyberLife and Lieutenant Hank Anderson are now armed with the task of taking care of a five year old girl after she survived a house fire that was started by a suspected deviant. However, her parents were not so fortunate. Together, the three go on missions, solve cases and try to uncover what is causing androids to deviate throughout Detroit. As the story progresses, Connor begins to question the way humans treat androids. With the help of five year old (Y/n), he will have to make a decision. [Connor x Android!Reader] Detroit is having a problem with their androids, they are attacking their owners; Deviants is what they have been called. Cyberlife is desperate, they are afraid that having just one Deviant hunter on the case isn't enough. So they made a new series, RX400 model. It's a prototype just like RK800, but with more experimenting features. Now that both their Deviant Hunters are out there trying to solve the mystery, Cyberlife never expected the two to deviate themselves. (I do not own anything about the DBH, I just inserted another Android where I thought would be fitting. Plus I felt like Wattpad didn't have enough Android readers, so ta-da. Enjoy!)
