This is not to humble-brag, but I've been critiquing and have worked with story development for quite some time, and I've picked up a lot along the way. ☙ - As an Ambassador, I work on content projects. ☙ - If you look at my profile, you'll see everything I've published so far has managed to standout in one way or another, whether by leading me to become a Wattpad Star; or by winning a Watty (twice!); or by being picked as a Top 10 in major Wattpad contests (twice!); or being featured. All I'm saying is I'm no slouch. I'm not brilliant either. But I've got some experience around what can catch an agent, editor, or judge's eye, and I'd like to share that with the community. ☙ - In another lifetime, I used to work for HBO in Development and at ICM (the talent agency) in their writers' department which means I understand how professionals quickly gauge whether or not they'll take a closer look at a work and/or make an offer. After being offered a job for what seemed like the opportunity of a lifetime, Zack moves to Russia to work. But after a year of service, the company shuts down. Forcing transfers and layoffs on people. However, Zack was one of the unfortunate few who got laid off. Stranded and homeless, Zack must strive to survive. But perhaps his fortune could turn around...the World cup is near after all. This will be the last world cup for many, the time for retirement is near. So with all the teams striving for perfection, Who's going to make it to the top? The futures of the story's characters are unknown. Some may have good or bad outcomes. Extra Notes about the story: - ACCURACY OF THE REAL 2018 WORLD CUP IS NOT THE PLAN - - The story will feature MANY famous players, hopefully one of yours made it in the story :] - - I will try to do more research on Russia.( Considering I've never been there ), So I can't guarantee an accurate representation. - - The World Cup is going to progress by "Who wins the match". I wanted to do it this way because I felt as though the story would progress smoothly and not be filled with too many details of the games. - - Characters might speak in their language of origin, but will mostly speak English just so its more convenient. - - PLEASE keep in mind that this is just a fanfiction, I am simply telling a story for entertainment purposes.
