When E-RUNE had launched, it was welcomed with open arms. After all, it'd been the first trading card game to introduce Animatechnology.
Suddenly, fictional card characters could walk, talk, run, kick, block, throw and even fight. TriCorp, with their ever-increasing profits, knew they needed to keep the franchise growing somehow.
After only one month, Animatech adapted to almost every market on the planet, but the company's most profitable project was the sport E-RUNE Ball.
The company knew that these characters, with their unique abilities, would make for the perfect athletes. The only catch: E-RUNE team masters had to enter the match arena to play ball with their chosen members, something rookie Alaric Greene hadn't known until it was too late.

Caedes offers this to her, but it isn't going to be as easy as it seems, as there are five separate races and thousands of people all going for the title as well, whoever receives it, gets a full ride to the college.Complete

In the not so far future, a special type of computer is invented. However, this computer isn't like others. It doesn't require a monitor, no mouse, no tower to operate. The only thing this computer needs, is your brain. This computer is a microchip called the Atomiton, a device that acts as a personal computer inside your head, allowing you to work on projects, search the internet, monitor your heart rate, and even play video games. These games belong to the genre of games dubbed VR (Virtual Reality). In the year 2060, a college emerges in the north eastern region of Iceland. This is the Global Educational Online Virtual Reality University (GEOVRU for short). It is easily the most expensive college in the world, costing $73, 456 for tuition alone, not counting for even room and board. Ten years later, the champion Caedes returns for a second year at this esteemed campus with the fame of defeating the Forman Online Final Boss and the glory of winning the championship of the same game in his resume, none of these can seem to pick him up after the loss of his lover Jalis, who has sacrificed herself for him. But with much awaiting him in year two... only time will tell what will become of him.Complete
