You don't really realize how deep your feelings go until it's too late. It's like, you don't fully appreciate someone until they're not around anymore. Love sometimes sticks around even when things start to slip because you get too comfortable or just take it all for granted. It's only when they're gone-physically or emotionally-that it hits you how much they really meant. And by then, all you're left with is that regret, wishing you'd figured it out sooner.
