Under the Byline

Levi Ledezma has always lived in the shadow of his greatest rival, Nathan Peralta. Since their first year in high school, Nathan has outshined him in everything-academics, contests, and even being their batch valedictorian in junior high. No matter how hard Levi tries, Nathan was always one step ahead.

Now, in their final year of senior high, the school board revives the official student publications: The Herald and Ang Hiraya. As fate would have it, Levi is appointed editor-in-chief of The Herald, while Nathan leads Ang Hiraya.

Finally, they have equal footing, a fair battleground where Levi can prove once and for all that he is better than Nathan.

But the more he fights to surpass Nathan, the harder it becomes to ignore one undeniable truth:
