In a world of powers, gods, and technology in perfect harmony, Atum, a carefree young man, is about to come of age and soon receive his stones of power alongside his two best friends in the Gifting Ceremony. When he discovers that the world he lives in is not as stable or perfect as they've been taught to believe, Atum is forced to grow up fast, and he must decide which path he will take and how much he is willing to risk to know the truth.
Their way of life is threatened by a mythical enemy from the stars, and an ancient force from within their own civilization.
This is my first attempt at this book-- I love the premise and I want to take it to epic places.
Any and all feedback on pacing, worldbuilding, characters, plot, or any other aspect of the story would be much appreciated.

It was quite a shock for Veldanava but to his surprise the dragon was friendly after them having a fight.. when they sort things out and after a few thousands years of them spending along, The Light Blue True Dragon Told Veldanava that he wanted to get imprison, Veldanava warned him but he didn't care, Veldanava didn't doubt cause The Dragon Himself Can Fight one on one with the Creator so Velda accepted.. When he was sealed Veldanava felt a bit lonely that he has someone truly amazing to talk to but now currently gone. The dragon also told him that to not tell anyone about him, but Veldanava was Stubborn So he plan telling on who was worth for telling.. The Unordinary
Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. Hello, I want to first thank you for taking the time to read my proposal, as I know that there are many others you must work through who have done the same as I; please, trust me when I say that your attention is greatly appreciated. I am messaging you today because I wish to submit a selection of excerpts taken from the series of science fiction/science fantasy stories I have written; called Psychic the Saga. I'm a former United States Marine, and a currently enrolled Aerospace Engineering undergrad at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Over the course of the last eight years, during which the earlier stated experiences have occurred in my adult life, I have continually written the story I am now presenting for your consideration. Outside of writing as a hobby, and what was needed when submitting assignments, my only writing credential is a published engineering research paper in the European Physical Letters: 'Tailorable Twisting of Biomimetic Scale-Covered Substrate'; of which, my main contributions were that of the experimentation, and the editing/proofreading of the paper. In regards to my submission, the story of Psychic follows our trio and the rest of their friends as they fight for peace and stability within the newly unveiled realm of psychics, once hidden amongst the world for untold millennia. The statistics of Book One are as follows: word count = ~205279, page count = ~396, target audience = young/new adult (16~34 yr. of age). The reasoning behind this age range is two-fold: the concepts, morals and lessons, themes, and situations/ problems faced by the main characters are both relatable and beneficial for this age group; also yes, there is foul language, and yes there are very visceral depictions of violence. Also also (lol), I wish to give a disclaimer in terms of any romance, love, or anything else similar; I intentionally never take the story beyond anything more intimate than a kiss. So there.
