The tall young man found himself momentarily alone. As he surveyed the vibrant atmosphere, he endeavoured to navigate through the crowds of animated guests engaged in conversation and laughter.

He made his way through clusters of people, murmuring quiet 'Excuse me's and keeping his head down low. One thing was certain, he didn't belong here at all.

He wasn't quite sure how it happened.

One moment, he was walking towards an empty space, away from the dozens, hundreds of guests. The next thing he knew, he felt suspended in time.

His red wine, a steady companion of his throughout this evening, slipped out of his grasp and all over a man's clean, white shirt.

Just about dying of embarrassment, Remus was about to utter a hastily spoken apology. But, as he looked up to the victim of his mistakes twinkling silver eyes, time just about stood still.
