Lyra was a normal 10 year old girl living with her father. But one not so chance of a find changed her life forever.
The only realm necklace left she found while at the beach. She had no idea the power that necklace held or the danger she was soon to be in.
That necklace was the Magic Folk Hunters only way back to Numidia, which Lyra's father knew could not happen.
He had a whole plan made out if hunters showed up...and they did.
Lyra's father sent her through a portal he opened with the necklace so she and the necklace would hopefully be safe
In Numidia, Lyra was found by her familiar and a sun fairy who took Lyra in and raised her till she was 15.
Lyra found out on her 15th birthday she wasn't human like she thought. A wand chose her. She's an elemental witch.
Kalie, the sun fairy, sends Lyra to SkyHigh Academy, a school that would help her learn to control her powers.
From there, Lyra makes friends and gets good control over her power.
However, things don't stay peaceful.
