The Mourninghelm Mysteries

During the summer holidays, Alex Lockwood stumbles upon a dark-and buried-family secret forcing him to enlist the help of his secondary school classmates who must unravel the truth before the ghosts of his family's past seek their revenge on the town of Mourninghelm.

It is the bleak beginning of September and Alex Lockwood has started the dreaded Mourninghelm Comprehensive School. With new challenges in the form of resident school bully and fellow classmate, Jean Smith, he wonders whether this school year will ever get better. But when he finds a box in the back of his mam's wardrobe during the annual Lockwood clean-up, he uncovers an age old mystery-and a curse.

With only twenty days to find out the truth before the curse engulfs the whole town, Alex enlists the help of his friends, his crush and, regrettably, Jean to uncover thee truth before it is too late. However, with the fate of his family and the town on the line, will the pressure crack him before he can save what he values most?
