Long ago, eight gods came together to create something to call their own. They made the world of Athas, and divided the land into kingdoms, with people and creatures to take care of the planet.
By tradition, the kingdoms renew their relationships with one another by marrying the royal families' heirs off to other kingdoms...

This is the first story that I've really been putting an effort into working on. I've always loved fantasy and romance, and really wanted to write one of my own that others could enjoy reading.
Since this is my first official story that I want to complete, I am very open to feedback. Please, leave your thoughts on how I could make this story reach the potential it has!
Story parts will probably come out slowly. I have a very busy life, and have little time to work. However, I am definitely putting in the effort. I might work harder if I get some more ideas and don't continually succumb to writer's block, lol.

A Guardian
"The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. Tales of Heaven
The first project that I started in early secondary school. Looking back at it is not that good. but seeing as I may not go back to it I might as well share it. Long ago the great gods of this world guided and protected all of the creation, but that all changed when the darkness welled up from below the ground and ravaged to lands, seas and sky. All kingdoms fell. With the last of their light. the gods bestowed their power upon chosen warriors, each blessed with power to destroy the darkness. However, the darkness proved too strong, fueled by the darkness in the hearts of man. It was sealed away in a conflict and the chosen were laid to slumber for a new generation to take up the mantle and do what needed to be done. Aspects of this became what Elohim is today.Complete
