When sixteen year old Ally had to move from Florida to Colorado with her mom, she didn't think she could ever find happiness. She had to leave her friends behind, move to a new school and start all over again. But her mom got a new job and wanted a fresh start for both of them, so Ally didn't have a choice.

She hated her new school and nobody cared to talk to her. She was beginning to think she could never be happy here, until she meets her new next door neighbors, gorgeous twin brothers, Mason and Eli. Although they're friendly to her at school, they keep their distance at home. Ally doesn't understand why they're always so hot and cold with her, but something doesn't seem right. There's something going on with them in that house and Ally will do everything to find out what.

Academic Asylum [PPB Book Series #2] by _inksapien
88 parts Ongoing Mature
Set within the walls of the prestigious yet enigmatic Einstein Academy, "Academic Asylum" navigates the ruthless hierarchies of academic distinction through the eyes of Sage Luxaire, a multifaceted student caught in the throes of mediocrity according to the school's rigid standards. At its base lie the "Descents," those students bereft of material wealth and, in some cases, academic brilliance. They possess only their untapped potential and relentless spirit as they struggle under the weight of financial and educational insufficiency. Climbing up the pyramid, the "Ascents" represent the middle tier-students like Sage, competent and versatile, yet overshadowed by the brilliance above them and often underestimated due to their Jack-of-all-trades nature. Perched precariously at the pinnacle are the "Untouchables," a minuscule elite who dominate the academic charts and are both revered and feared for their intellectual prowess. Representing just 2% of the student body, their success is both aspired to and resented. Sage, despite being an adept SSG officer, writer, musician, and dancer, finds himself yearning to dismantle the labels that confine him. His journey takes a dramatic turn when he decides to explore the life and struggles of those at the bottom of the academic spectrum. But his quest is abruptly disrupted by a chilling crime within the academy, underlining the vicious extents to which students will go to preserve or alter their rank in this uncompromising academic environment. Academic Asylum explores themes of ambition, identity, and the often cruel mechanics of institutional prestige. As Sage navigates through his own ambitions and the turmoil around him, he exposes the reader to the complex dynamics of power, sympathy, and rivalry that pulse beneath the surface of a top-tier educational institution. His narrative challenges the idea of inherent worth tied to academic achievement and questions the true meaning of success in a hyper-competitive world.
