Jedha Shan and Stuatdon Jilmba are bounty hunters on a mission and their target Jod Na Nawood is a man with nothing left.
Ciena Ree is a woman whose devotion to the Empire has cost her everything and Thane Kyrell is the man who'd do anything to protect her.
The fates of these five people are intertwined when an accident sends them beyond the unknown regions. With a broken ship, no idea where they are, and the remains of the Empire destroying those who oppose them while in search of a new leader, can the group of mismatched allies find their way back?
