"I hardly remember anything, and I'm forgetting what little I remember." Kat doesn't remember what happened that night, and no one tells her anything. She's stuck in a room, with no people, no windows, no communication with anyone, and no way out. There's only one door, but no doorknob on her side of the door. Nurses come in and out of the room. Every day, three times a day, to bring her meals. But they don't speak, like robots, they just walk in and out of the room. That is until one day a strange nurse comes in, one unlike any other..... for once this one's a guy and two, he isn't a nurse. He tells her he's gonna get her out of there, not worry, and to act like he was never there. That just like she was there for him all those times he's gonna be there for her. Although Kat doesn't know what he's talking about, much less remembers him, she agrees since it may be the only chance she'll ever get to escape. But she feels like there's something important missing. Like there's something she's not remembering.

Unchained

Helen's parents demand that she marry the man they've chosen for her or be disowned. She chooses to be disowned. But that isn't good enough for them. They make sure that she either doesn't get jobs or they make sure that she gets fired from them. She loses her apartment and all her things do to them. They are sure that she'll give in and marry the man they've chosen rather than live on the streets. But then again, they've never really paid much attention to their daughter unless they wanted something from her. Helen would rather live on the streets and eat out of garbage dumpsters then return to her parents and marry the man that would make her life a living hell. At least on the streets she's free. She might starve or freeze to death but she'll be free. Then one day three men come after her, intent on forcing her and beating her for what little she has. Before one of them does more than grab her arm the three are gone. Helen looks down and finds them on the ground with their hearts torn out of the bodies. She looks at the person that did that in horror but then her sight goes black.
