This book is going to have multiple POVs so it might be confusing at first, but I'll still put whose POV it is in each chapter. This book revolves more around the game, you've been living with your mom since '88 and your ex boyfriend, Michael, suddenly gives you a call in '92 to let you know that he's found who killed your sister. Out of joy and excitement you buy a plane ticket with your daughter to finally see your dad after so long and move back down to Hurricane, but you didn't realize that was what Mike meant by "found.."
Throughout this book it revolves around Michael a lot, all of the shifts he had to take to reverse what was broken. Not just for his sister, nor his brother, not even just your own sister, but for all of the lost children. The first place his father asks him to go to is the pizzeria, which you accompany him to once you're back in town. The next place he asks before he dies is tasking Mike to go to sister location to free his sister, but will he be successful in it all?
