Missing Signals

Lily and Haru were accidental high school lab partners. An explosive chemistry sent them in different directions creating a feud.

Now, with college looming, Lily needs a math tutor for her to pass. Her professor suggests Haru, a soccer star. She declines at first but had no choice. She asks him, he declines. She makes several different attempts to get his attention for him to say yes.

Eventually, she finds out that he struggles with his college application essays. A deal was made, she helps him write, he helps her pass. But as late-night study sessions turn into something more, feelings grow- only for misunderstandings to pull them apart.
