As the company of Thorin Oakenshield passes through Mirkwood, Thalia must fight her own battle against her will to embrace darkness or protect her family without relying on this fascinating yet dangerous power.
Dhalia, raised by Bilbo in the Shire, has lived a peaceful life-until she joins the dwarves on their quest to reclaim Erebor. Her journey to reunite with her sisters becomes intertwined with the dwarves' battle against Smaug and dealing with this new version of herself might be the most difficult challenge she has ever faced.
