Each year across Nir, nations encompassing every race celebrate unity, athleticism, and wisdom. From the trollan jungles of Taniros to the shining elven city of Luminaria, two champions emerge to represent their people.

The victors walk away with riches and fame. Honor is optional.

No two arenas are the same, and only the strongest survive. Traps, monsters, and puzzles await, fraught with danger and a command to protect the team talisman.

...

A young rogue from Nir's northernmost region, Ives only has one goal: win the Games. He's trained his entire life for this, and dreams of being the first player of human descent to win the games since Tallon Colbert's legendary victory several years prior. His motivations or no one else's business

The problem? He's partnered with Sera Phenos, a seasoned monk from the native community of a far-off archipelago.

Last year, Ives cost her a spot in the games, and Sera is in no mood to forgive her partner. He is reckless and a liability; a disastrous quality in a champion competing in challenges far above his league.

The pair lands themselves in trouble before the games even start, making working together nearly impossible. Unfortunately, any hope to win means they must set aside their differences and cooperate, a feat that's easier said than done.

After all, only one team can win.

As long as people believed that there was a division between the Gifted and the non-Gifted, that one was superior to the other, I wasn't done. As long as there were kings on thrones to reinforce the idea that people like Porter and Briar and everyone else I cared about were unworthy of this world, I wasn't done. "And then," I continued, a resolution forming in my mind. "I'm going to destroy those six thrones." ********************************************** Wren Heatherfield has been through hell and back, surviving the deadly trials of the Garner and claiming the title of Garner Champion. However, her fight is far from over, with the real challenges only just beginning. Adjusting to her new life in the Ember Court with her insufferable enemy-turned-friend Kesserian Cinis, Wren is forced to face the truth of how close the six courts of Naturian are to a civil war, with Nox and Wren leading the opposing sides. But the fight for allies she can trust might turn out to be just as hard as her internal fight: coming to terms with her true identity. With the loyalties and beliefs of her past and present self at war with each other, Wren must decide who she is and what she stands for if she has any hope of surviving this upcoming war. Plagued by nightmares and trauma from her time in the Garner, Wren must find a way to keep moving forward. With the weight of a crumbling nation on her shoulders, Wren has one chance to fix the injustices that plague Naturian and achieve her dreams of toppling tyranny, but the alluring power of the throne might prove too intoxicating for even her to resist. A fight for her loved ones. A fight for the oppressed. A fight to save the remaining good in Naturian. The chains have been released. Now the real fight begins.

Beyond the Void

100 capítulos Concluída Maduro

A dreary age has lasted far too long and torpor has seeped deep into the hearts across the continent of Tavran. All races pray for change and golden ages of the past but they have no strength to bring it about. Neither does anyone have the strength to accept the truths and turbulent power about to be unveiled. The prince of the Eternal Empire of Tavran desperately attempts to reclaim the legacy of his predecessors. This struggle for dominance draws in other souls, cursed by vicious powers and even more desperate hopes. A scoundrel from the Freehold of Whitefall, the High King of the alyar and the last refugees from the home world of humanity find their paths torn towards the Imperial Capital of Ironcourt. In the hearts of all the races of Tavran, the result of the prince's vain fight holds the key for a better, new age. No one suspects that it is merely a puny reflection of the real events about to transpire in the Imperial Capital. Beyond the Void is a high fantasy story inspired by Steven Erikson's Malazan Book of the Fallen series. It is an epic journey through the ages of an intricate world, following the mysteries and struggles of a wide cast of characters, both human-like and fantastic.
