Bonnie Im comes from a wealthy family made of lawyers and politicians. Her parents works for the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) who always pretended to her to be perfect just like her older sister, Nicole, is.

For all her 24 years of life, Bonnie was expected to be a copy of Nicole. She did the same things. She studied in the same schools.

But it wasn't the real Bonnie. She wasn't doing what she really wanted to do. She was just pleasing her parents.

So, one day, she accepted a job offer at the BAU. This disapointed her parents, who wanted her to join them at the DFA. But Bonnie didn't care. She wanted to put herself first for once.

And there, she wasn't a very likeable person, with her spoiled, reckless and unreliable attitude and hatred for rules. The only person who piqued her interest was Derek Morgan.

What started as a gentle bickering became something deeper.
