Our World is Different
Our world is quiet. Here, vultures consume everything that falls or is too weak to stand. An untouched flower quickly becomes sullied if it dares to run across the minefield we call the world. But it halts in the middle of the meadow-where the familiar meets the extraordinary.
Humanity, unknowingly, has disrupted the balance between worlds, causing angels to become trapped on Earth. A mysterious family, the Sallow family-guardians of celestial secrets for centuries-protects the protagonist, Avarka, a young woman unaware of her extraordinary destiny. Avarka decides to leave the Sallow family's manor and journey to a distant, mystical city, Rindanof, nestled above the clouds in the Swiss mountains.
In Rindanof, Avarka encounters the city's enigmatic and charismatic ruler, a man revealed to be an archangel whom the world calls evil. He thrives in the chaos of imbalance, yet Avarka's presence unexpectedly nourishes the good within him. A complicated relationship unfolds between them, a dance of attraction and mistrust. Avarka comes to understand how thin the boundary is between good and evil and realizes that the true threat is an entity far stronger than pure and honest will alone.
As she delves deeper into the mysteries of Rindanof, Avarka becomes entangled in devilish games and real-world dilemmas. She must confront her own emotions and moral struggles while uncovering the true nature of angels and her own role in restoring balance.
Throughout the story, the relationship between Avarka and the archangel tests them both, while the fate of the worlds hangs in the balance.
