The year? 2002. The date? Late August. The weather? Hot. It's just another summer for Bernardo, Brody, Gracie, and Savannah. For the past few years, they've spent the summer at Gracie's Father's log cabin in the middle of nowhere. At the end of the summer, they held a huge party at the lake, something that was a staple of their summers. That is until one year, no one shows. At first the group thinks it might just be an accident, or maybe the directions they gave were wrong. But as soon as the friends leave the lake house, they find that there might have been much more sinister ulterior reasons to why no one made it to their party... Bernardo had always been the odd one. And to be honest, that didn't bother him at all. He grew up with a rich buissinessman father, and took quickly to preforming arts. Painting, riding a unicycle, and working on becoming an amateur trapeze artist are only a few of his varried talents. Brody, head of the water polo team, had two main things you would learn about him in ten minutes. Number one: he was a misogynist. Number two: he had no idea how to play water polo. And and honorary number three: he had a massive crush on Gracie Gorbo. Gracie Gorbo was the pinnacle of popularity. She was the head of a sorority and had looks that could make a model idolize her. Her father was the CEO of Gorbo Fruits, one of the most sucessful fruit brands in the country. Not only was she the valavictorian of her class, but she also had more money than she did cells. The only thing she was missing was the side of her brain that taught her what a compliment was. Savannah, like her companions, had grown up rich. She loved softball and was a loyal member of the sorority Gracie was head of. Even more, she was loyal to Gracie. The only part of her brain she was missing was the part that told her how to stop complimenting others- specifically Gracie. A retelling of Smosh vs. Zombies.
