There was something ominous about, Doorwell, that, Chanley Cryston couldn't put his finger on. He leaned over towards the window, as the car moved along the black paved road, past the iron gates and towards the giant brick Victorian.
The tall windows reflected back nothing but darkness on every one of the three floors, while English Ivy clambered up around the entrance nearly engulfing it; Even the students in their white shirts and blue ties - the girls wearing long grey skirts seemed, somehow, unsettling.
"I don't know about this place." Chanley said to Daniel, the family chauffeur.
"Yeah, me neither, kid, but, I don't make the rules. You parents said this is where you have to go," Daniel said, slowly pulling up to the front and putting the car in park, before turning in his seat, "of course, every new place feels a bit scary at first. I'm sure you will learn to love it here."
Chanley shot him a look, "if I get mangled on these grounds you are going to feel pretty horrible for the rest of your life. Is it really worth the risk?"
"You're not going to get mangled. It's just an old building with a lot of tradition and heritage."
"Well, if I do perish, I want you to know, you were always my favorite." Chanley said, opening the door and stepping out.
Daniel chuckled. "I'll see you at Thanksgiving. Have fun."
As the car drove off, Chanley stood there in his own uniform and blue tie, with a beige military rucksack thrown over his right shoulder. The wind ruffled his brown hair as he made his way over to the front doors.

"After what you and your stupid friends did to me, isn't it enough? Do you really have to rub it in my face?" I snapped, my voice shaking with fury.
Olivia just smirked, stepping closer until her warm minty breath fanned against my lips. My pulse went wild, betraying me.
"I'm only just getting started, angel," she whispered in that husky voice of hers. "And I'll stop... the moment I hear you moan my name."
