Veylen was once a man-a mortal executioner who thought death was the end. But the chains of the goddess Xujho proved otherwise. Bound by her will, shaped by self-inflicted torment, he was torn apart and rebuilt into something greater. Now, as Veylen the Penitent, the Priest of Thorns, and the Voice of Xujho, he walks the world once more, preaching a gospel of pain and zealotry in her name.

But when Lyara, a young scholar obsessed with the legend of the Revenant, crosses his path, she sees something more-a man behind the martyrdom, a broken soul beneath the priestly mask. Drawn to his knowledge and devotion, she begins to question if the faith she has sought all her life was waiting for her in the eyes of this scarred, enigmatic priest.
As Veylen leads her deeper into the abyss of Xujho's doctrine, Lyara must decide-will she pull him back to his forgotten humanity, or will she fall to her knees and offer herself to the same fate?

Nobody is able to make rational decisions when they submit to this demon called Rage. And Rhys, of course, wasn't an exception. It was by mistake, and by rage, that he used his hand on his wife. But, actions and words are something that can't be undone. He knew that he was angry but so much that he used his hand on ... He knew even if Luna and Valerie forgave him, he will not be able to do that with himself. No one is that kind, especially not him. So, he immediately agreed to take refugee with his friend Blaze in a church called :- "The Sanctuary". It was his anger and rage that he wanted to forget. It was his guilt that he wanted to overcome. It was his regret that he wanted to forgive. And there were so many other emotions attached. There was so much that he thought he would do when he would step inside 'The Sanctuary'. I wrote this for EVERYONE. To appeal to anyone that reads ANY genre. It combines almost all of them. It's an introduction to the Worlds of Within universe. When you get to the action parts (which doesn't take long) you should be invested enough to want to unravel the mysteries and enjoy its intrigue... The flood is raging. A terrifying, heartless mountain of water, swallowing the world . The tunnel networks? Of course, that won't save them. The forests? Like leaves in a breeze. The lookout towers and trade hubs? Gone. Washed clean. Every home, every last trace of what once was. Gamleon is the first to see it ... and survive. His mind is near collapse, his heart broken. He runs. What would YOU do? What could anyone do? Some scrape by in a mythological setting of beasts and medieval men. Cruel, literally cold-blooded Gorgon hordes enforce an absolute rule slithering in the tunnels beneath the feet of every kingdom. There is an isolated, forgotten place. A cavern, magnificent and vast, older than civilization. A place where the weird and the unwanted might ride out this cataclysm if Gamleon can stay alive long enough to get them there.. CHANCE
A happy-go-lucky girl meets an untimely death-or so she believes. Convinced her soul has simply popped out of her body, she waits for the Grim Reaper to guide her to the afterlife. But when no one comes, she realizes she's a wandering spirit, left to uncover the mystery behind her sudden death. Her quest takes an unexpected turn when she encounters an exorcist. Though sent to banish her from the earthly realm, he offers her a chance to stay-on one peculiar condition: she must help find a suitable partner for a boy whose life has taken a tragic turn. His fate, once destined for happiness, has been overshadowed by adversity after a crucial person in his life was erased from existence. Determined to fulfill her part of the deal, she dives into her mission. But the closer she gets to the truth, the more she realizes nothing is as simple as it seems. Can she uncover the mysteries surrounding her death and the boy's altered destiny, or will the threads of fate remain tangled forever?
