Arcane Season 3 With Ekko & Jinx - Act 1
Set after Arcane: Season 2, this story follows Ekko as he ventures to Kalstead to uncover Benzo's past after discovering an old photograph. With the war between Zaun and Piltover finally coming to an end, Isha now has the opportunity to grow up in a peaceful Zaun, free from the chaos that once defined the world. Meanwhile, Jinx and Ekko are working to rebuild their relationship, healing the wounds left by the conflict that once drove them apart. (Takes place after S2 episode 9, and Isha never died) Warning: some fluff and smut, references to the past war, strong topics. Alternate universe Powder isn't stupid. She's going back for Vi. Little did she know how the anomaly would behave. After barely surviving Warwick's attack, Powder, Ekko, and Lux uncover a shocking truth- Powder from another universe arrived in their world 800 years ago. She left behind an artifact, a scaled-up version of Ekko's Z-Drive. If it truly controls time, then maybe-just maybe-they can undo the destruction, the deaths, the betrayals. But time is unforgiving. Every answer raises more questions. Why did AU Powder come here? What was she trying to change? As they search for the truth, they realize the cost of altering fate may be higher than they ever imagined. With time slipping through their fingers, Powder, Ekko, and Lux must make an impossible choice: Can they save those they lost? And if they can... should they? But I take issue with most Jinx x Ekko fanfics/timebombs either rushing their complicated relationship from 0 (Enemies) to 10 (Best Friends/Lovers), often ignoring crucial aspects of both characters that define their trauma and willingness/unwillingness to reconcile with each other. Jinx is an incredibly complex character. Expect this story to explore that complexity to its fullest. I've been inspired to attempt the impossible; Showcase the most realistic possible path for these two to find their way back to each other. Arcane is a show of tragedy brought forth by circumstance. Unlike most fanfics, this one will focus on a realistic take of what their relationship could have looked like, if at one crucial moment, things went a different way.
