So when the Spiez crash her party, fight with her and ruin it, the Spiez notice hints of an abusive home and plan a small surprise for the pink-haired pre-teen.
Megan reflects on this deeply when she sees some similar scars and mannerisms on Kat's arm, that are cut a little too deep to the dark-haired teen.

"Well, I might have destroyed a very expensive painting and I kind of need to pay the people back-and before you say anything, it wasn't my fault, it was drunk me fault." I let out a sigh and ran my hand through my hair.
