A student of old-school wrestling and considered the King of Deathmatches. Dan had a long history of being one of the toughest men in wrestling but one death match in Japan changed everything. It was so intense and violent, that he got a long jagged scar on his back along his spine. He had to have surgery to try to correct the damage. But the only thing they were able to repair was some cosmetic damage and for some reason. Barely any damage was repaired. But occasionally he will get a pins and needles feeling or barely any feeling at all in his hands or arms. But he has garnered a reputation for beating the odds and doing the impossible.
When he reached TNA. He became the guy to beat. He started dating Tessa near the end of December 2024. After Genesys in January 2025. Dan switched promotions to WWE and Tessa followed suit even though she was TNA Women's World Champion. But Dan always loved her attitude when it came to her character. And when Dan made his debut on Raw after the 2025 Royal Rumble, which is where the story begins...
