Percy sighed, forehead resting against hers. "Figures. Australia?"

"That could work," Elia conceded. "We could have a beach house. Big yard. Proper garden, none of that sad windowsill herb nonsense. You could be a super hot lifeguard, all tan and dashing. Make friends with the local shark populations and I'll be a kangaroo caretaker and your designated sunscreen applier on the side."

"So you think I'm hot." Percy wiggled his brows cheekily.

The brunette kissed him. "We're literally dating."

"Potato tomato," He mumbled against her lips.

"Potato potahto," she corrected futilely, allowing his tongue to meet hers.

"Mhmm," Percy said, teasing. "Keep talking dirty to me."

After everything she's endured, Elia wasn't searching for another adventure, it found her. One moment she was contently solving problems and building gadgets in peace, the next she was thrust into a world unraveling at the seams. Ancient enemies from long forgotten myths have returned, cryptic prophecies haunt her every step, and nothing is as it seems. As she's forced to traverse dangerous alliances and impossible choices, she soon realizes survival simply isn't enough anymore.

To defeat threats on the horizon, she'll have to confront secrets buried deep within her past and grapple with things she barely understands for a future. But if she fails, it won't just be her world that falls-it will be everyone she's ever cared for.
