After the death of Avatar Korra, Republic City has fallen into the hands an evil water bender named Yamikori who has the people convinced that all fire benders are evil and has had all of the fire benders in Republic City executed. He has also taken over the Fire Nation and has killed off the fire benders there as well. The only hope lies with the new Avatar.
