A transfer from my original posting on AO3. A "haters to lovers" rewriting of Crowfeather X Leafpool with a happier ending.
Do you like reading Warrior cats? Did you love Crowfeather's story and him as a character? Did you grow fond of him only for his entire story and character arc to be destroyed and all of his lovable qualities being dumbed down to him being a shitty and cold hearted dad?
Yeah.
Me too.
So, out of spite, I'm rewriting the story of Crowfeather into this new furry retelling. Where his qualities are NOT FORGOTTEN, he doesn't have a sad LOVE STORY, and the racism of his clan leader is CALLED OUT. There are several changes made to the story. They are not on the land shown in the stories, I made a Pinterest board to help visualize the new land. You are born into clans, but you can come and go from clans freely, you're not eternally bound to one and then kill each other over this fake sense of loyalty. (BECAUSE IT FILLS ME WITH RAGE).
Basically a furry cottagecore romance with some angst on the side for spice, a cute developing romance between two cats of very different personalities.

Direct crosspost from Ao3 This is an INTENSELY self indulgent prequel for the events of Monster Hunter World following the life of the Commander. Fic takes place from the First Fleet setting out and covers things like the Celestial Pursuit ending up on a mountain, the Scoutflies, the Seeker peacing out, the Research Base crash landing, and some other stuff I'm forgetting, and ends right before the opening sequence of the game. So if you like Monster Hunter, and for some reason you're not here for the monster part (why are we here? Where is the appeal beyond big monster?), we're here together. Ngl, I wrote this because he is 100% my OC's type, and I had brain worms until I wrote it all out. I'm freeeee! The PoV is from the Commander instead of said OC so we get to see more fun things than "oh god he's hot. Oh god I'm gay. Oh god." Instead we get stuff like "Woah cool bugs. Ha ha cute monsters! AH BIG MONSTER!" You're welcome. Fun fact: I played the game in French, so I have ZERO HANDLE on how their dialog sounds in English. *Finger guns and skates off into the sunset* *This is a grammatically LAX fic. Frostkit, a kit of ThunderClan, is very Independent and doesn't understand why most things were fun. She also has a quick-temper and was most of the time polite though fierce. Her mother died when she was born and Frostkit always thought it was Mistleaf's fault, though her father said she wasn't the reason. Frostpaw becomes more independent then ever as cats from outside the Clan roams inside the Clans. The senior warriors of ThunderClan have met them before and eagerly accepts them into the Clan. Frostpaw feels that they are weird and tries to stay away from them any way that she can, but what happens when something horrible happens?
