A transfer from my original posting on AO3. A "haters to lovers" rewriting of Crowfeather X Leafpool with a happier ending.
Do you like reading Warrior cats? Did you love Crowfeather's story and him as a character? Did you grow fond of him only for his entire story and character arc to be destroyed and all of his lovable qualities being dumbed down to him being a shitty and cold hearted dad?
Yeah.
Me too.
So, out of spite, I'm rewriting the story of Crowfeather into this new furry retelling. Where his qualities are NOT FORGOTTEN, he doesn't have a sad LOVE STORY, and the racism of his clan leader is CALLED OUT. There are several changes made to the story. They are not on the land shown in the stories, I made a Pinterest board to help visualize the new land. You are born into clans, but you can come and go from clans freely, you're not eternally bound to one and then kill each other over this fake sense of loyalty. (BECAUSE IT FILLS ME WITH RAGE).
Basically a furry cottagecore romance with some angst on the side for spice, a cute developing romance between two cats of very different personalities.

Direct crosspost from Ao3 This is an INTENSELY self indulgent prequel for the events of Monster Hunter World following the life of the Commander. Fic takes place from the First Fleet setting out and covers things like the Celestial Pursuit ending up on a mountain, the Scoutflies, the Seeker peacing out, the Research Base crash landing, and some other stuff I'm forgetting, and ends right before the opening sequence of the game. So if you like Monster Hunter, and for some reason you're not here for the monster part (why are we here? Where is the appeal beyond big monster?), we're here together.
