The Basement

I returned to my childhood home after my mother's funeral, only to find myself trapped in the decaying house filled with whispers and an ancient presence. Drawn by an irresistible pull, I discovered an unhuman entity lurking in the basement--something my mother had tried to warn me about. As the entity speaks in her voice, begging to be freed, now I struggle against an overwhelming urge to let it out, realizing too late that I might already know what it is.
