"Axel what is going on!" I exclaimed. "You haven't been home in three days! You haven't even tried to contact me. And you deleted your Facebook account? What's that about? I came here for a doctor's appointment, that you obviously forgot about, and you're here with another woman? Don't just stare at me like that and start explaining yourself." By the time I was done ranting, I was out of breath and Axel just stared at me as if he had seen a ghost. "I must be hallucinating," he whispered to himself as he stared between the woman lying on the bed and me. "What are you ta-," That's when I noticed the woman's features. Dark skin, curly afro, slim built. All this made no sense. I felt a sense of panic wash over me. "This can't be real. Is this a prank?" But from the look on Axel's face, I could tell it wasn't. I looked over to the body on the bed and my breath became laboured. I tried to calm myself down but then I began hyperventilating. "Avalon," Axel's soft voice floated on my ear as I stared at the woman possessing my face. "You're in a coma. You have been for two weeks." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After ending up in an accident on a camping trip with her husband, Avalon's spirit roams the earth. Not knowing she is a spirit, she is confused as to why everyone is ignoring her. When she comes face to face with herself laying on a hospital bed, it is then she realizes she is in a coma, and no one but her husband Axel, can see her. Between Axel learning astral projection, and Avalon feeling her unborn child through her body, their worlds have become absolute chaos. Will they be able to return Avalon's spirit to her body? What will happen to their baby?

Please." I nodded, I looked down at Constance, then I looked back at her. She looks like a bomb ready to detonate, it's over. I stood up and put Constance in his cot, he began to giggle at the sight of the mobile. His fist in his mouth admiring the hanging sea creatures, dolphins, whales, and turtles. I looked back at Evangeline, she was breathing heavily and losing all control. She plopped down on the bed, and I moved from the cot to look at her. Once my feet stood in front of her she took her ring off and threw it at me. It hit my chest. It fell right on my slipper. She was growing with hysteria. Her fingers running through her hair. I was frozen, she was heaving and she fell from the bed onto her knees. She crawled to the corner of the room, in between the wall and the dresser. Her red shirt rubbing against the green walls of the bedroom. Her shoulder grazed the beige dresser, making scratches on her arms and she didn't care. I looked down at the ring sitting on my foot, to my Evangeline. My mouth hung open but I couldn't say anything, the only noise in the room was the scraping of Evangeline's shoulder and the little giggles escaping the cot. My money was on my foot, but my heart split across the room." -Chp 15
