Day 157
Everything was disturbingly quiet, seconds ago I just heard his screams for help fading into nothingness, or was that hours ago?
My breath stuck in my throat, my heart thumbing in an alarming rate while tears of sadness and frustration were streaming down my face.
I could only pray that they didn't hear me, that they wouldn't get me too. But what were the chances? I knew from the moment the doors closed that we were destined to die.
But how was that fair, we were just children forced into this harsh environment, trying to surive.
So why did I have to worry everytime I left this damned place, that I have to be ready for death, for loss.
Because nothing stays ever assured in this place.
I just had to hope that I would surive the night, I had to get back to them. To my family.
I had so much too live for, I still had a future even if it was unclear, no that's wrong, he was my future, my present and everything I could ever wish for.
I am aware that there is only a slim chance of suriving here, but I am willing to take it, for my family.
Y/N, a simple woman, joins the deadly games to pay off debts after her mother's death. Young-Il, a heartless soul, controls the games, watching everything from afar while sipping on his glass of whisky.
But this year is different. When he spots Y/N, number 160, during the game of "Red Light, Green Light," he can't help but grow more obsessed with her.
The first game ends, and Young-Il decides it's time to join the games himself, meet her, and make her his forever. Not that he will allow anyone else to even look at her
But will Y/N really trust him?
