A Fading Dream

The hustle and bustle of a crowded and advanced city does mesmerize the eyes of tourists. While things to these business forward city goers might seem mundane and annoying, they enthrall visitors. Packed train cars with very little room to breathe and even stand is so awe inspiring. Late night business centers with rows of people still working encourages working harder. Tasty convenience store lunches dance against tastebuds. Vending machines, of food, drink, or toys, delight the brain. Anything and everything seems possible. Leaving your world behind and flying into another is like a walking dream.
Maybe that's why I thought I saw you that day in Tokyo. A glimpse of someone no more. My best friend, long dead but never forgotten.
