After hearing hoax reports of unnaturally large wolves roaming the forests of Forks, Washington, wildlife biologist Grace Cobber jumps at the opportunity to discover this rumor for herself.
She arrives in a town completely out of her comfort zone only in the name of science. Of course, it helps to have a childhood friend who recently moved back of Texas to be with her in-laws that happily open their home to Grave while she stays.
And yet their odd kindness and strained smiles about her interest in their surroundings don't compare to the broody man made of solid muscle that refuses to leave her alone once running into her during her first trek into the forest.
