Kylie Cantrall is an aspiring pop star, struggling to write lyrics that truly connect with her audience. Desperate for inspiration, she stumbles upon Malia Baker's private poetry diary and knowingly uses one of Malia's poems as the lyrics for a song she posts online. The song goes viral, but when Malia discovers the theft, she's furious.
After an awkward confrontation, Kylie apologizes and convinces Malia to collaborate with her on new music. As they work together, their professional relationship turns personal, and a deep connection begins to form.
