"My life feels like puzzle pieces sometimes. I don't know where some pieces fit and there's always some missing." I sighed, lowering my head. I always felt like my mind was trying to destroy me, but yet nobody understood what was going on in my head.
As my head stayed lowered, I saw Everlyn stepping towards me, which made me tilt my head up and lock eyes with her. I could tell she was trying to understand me, but she couldn't.
These past few days have been torture for the both of us. We're not sure what was happening, and I'd be damned if I spoke out loud about how I felt about her.
"Dawn..." She spoke gently as our eyes were staring into each other's. She reached over and placed her hands on my face, cupping my cheeks gently as her eyes remained on mine. "We're in this together now. I'm not leaving you. I want to help find those missing pieces, and hopefully put them together for you. You just have to let me in..."
