Julia Martins cannot be thankful enough for having made her dream come true in such a short time. At only seventeen years old, Julia is a famous pop star who is loved worldwide and conquered the hearts of different generations.

Even though her voice is always praised, Julia is sure it isn't the only thing that attracts a global audience. She believes the fair-skinned, brunette young woman with ethereal beauty appearing in every music video, concert, and photoshoot is responsible for her insane popularity.

Except, that young woman isn't Julia, but Vera, an image Julia created to fit what she thinks are the entertainment industry's standards.

Despite living her dream as another person, Julia doesn't mind as long as her music can reach her fans and make them smile. But living as Vera has its downside. Besides having to hide who she truly is or risk Vera's existence, Julia can't develop deep relationships since her life is a lie.

But life can be tricky, and when her heart finally gives in, Julia must make a choice that will determine if she wants to continue living a dream or wake up.
