Ajax Prescott is the average 31 year old man. His life is turned upside down when he gets into an accident and ends up in a coma. During his coma he hears everything and everyone around him, his own girlfriend, Samantha Alexander, berating him and telling him to die and the doctor who cared for him in his brain dead state. The doctor in question is 26 year old Matthew Andrews, whom feels pity for his patient's poor condition. The two become infatuated with eachother and set out on a journey of love, discovery and acceptance.
