Set between September 1939 and September 1945 this book explores a alternative history in which a brand new form of ideology develops and takes gradually gains more influence this story is told through the lens of three people. The first was Peter Biszukowicz the male heir of a powerful family in Poznan Poland who introduced Utopian socialism to Poland. Peters's story begins in September 1939 when the Germans invade and Peters's life is thrown Upside down. The next major character is his cousin Lev Biszukowsky a high-ranking member of the NKVD who in September 1939 finds himself being ordered to take control of a Polish city which the red army had taken over. Finally you have Abraham Biszukin the grand son of a Powerful militia leader who hails from Atlanta Georgia which is the capital of the social progressive party of America which he leads, more importantly in September 1939 Abraham is the Vice President of the United States when the Germans invade Poland. Abraham then urges President Frankin Roosevelt to declare war on Hitler when Roosevelt refuses Abraham goes out of his way to do something about it.This book explores the horrors of World War 2 as well diving into a intresting alternative history.

When you look at a soldier that has been at war, you can see it, its written on their faces and engraved in their eyes. A World War Two fiction story about a young man named Albert Schroeder, a twenty one year old German soldier of the Wehrmacht, has been sent to Western Russia to fight the Soviet Union in the summer of June 1944. In military training in Northern Germany, he meets another soldier named Kurt Smith. Kurt has been his friend since military training until his death in a battle against the Soviets during the early night. After Kurt's death, Albert faces many problems with another death of one of Kurt's friends from high school, Ralph Schäfer that he had just met. Albert will then be taken to a place many soldiers of his kind have gone before, a Russian P.O.W camp and might stay there for most of the war until it is over or will Albert try to escape during the night and go on a huge journey back to Germany? Started: 2-26-16 Highest Ranking: #411 in Historical Fiction This book needs to be EDITED this is pretty much a fair warning. There will be multiple grammatical issues and some chapters don't make sense. I will be editing chapters and adding chapters for the next few weeks. The holocaust had already been changing the lives of Jews for six years but in the year 1939, when it becomes rough in Poland, everything changed for these 12 year olds Cole and Jackie Clogsglot. They lived in Poland. At this point of time, Germany just declared war on Poland. Their mother dies unexpectedly in an attack,and their father dies at war. The twins must figure out how to adapt to staying with Mr. Vandel, their neighbor and his nephew, Fin, in his cottage in northern Poland.The only thing that could help was hope. Trigger Warning// This book contains graphic moments during the Holocaust. If you are someone who is quite uncomfortable with that topic, I recommend that you do not read this book.Terminé
