Tahimik ang buong bahay, pero sa loob ng dibdib ko, parang may unos na hindi ko kayang pigilan. Nakatayo ako sa harap ng salamin, pinagmamasdan ang sarili kong repleksyon-maputla, malalim ang eyebags, at bakas sa mukha ko ang pagod na hindi galing sa trabaho kundi sa emosyon.

Hindi ko alam kung ilang beses ko nang tinanong ang sarili ko kung may patutunguhan pa ba ako. Kung may halaga pa ba ako. Pero kahit anong isipin ko, isa lang ang sagot,wala.

Napasinghap ako nang biglang bumukas ang pinto. Si Mama. Kita ko agad ang kunot sa noo niya.

"Eris, ano na namang ginagawa mo rito? Araw-araw ka na lang nakatambay sa kwarto. Kailan ka ba maghahanap ng trabaho?"

 "Hindi ko pa alam, Ma..."

 "Ano bang hindi mo alam? Sa edad mong 'yan, dapat may direksyon ka na sa buhay mo! Hindi ka na bata, Eris. Hindi na puwedeng ganito ka palagi."

 "Hindi mo naman naiintindihan, Ma..."

 "Ano ang hindi ko naiintindihan, ha? Na wala kang ginagawa? Na habang kaming lahat, nagpapakapagod, ikaw nandito lang, nagkukulong sa kwarto?"

 "Ma, pagod na ako..."

 "Pagod? Paano ka mapapagod, eh wala ka namang ginagawa?"

 "Pagod na akong mabuhay, Ma..."

Biglang tumahimik si Mama. Para bang hindi niya inasahan ang sagot ko. Pero hindi ko na siya tiningnan,ayokong makita ang reaksyon niya. Ayokong makita ang pagkagulat, ang hindi pag-intindi, o mas malala, ang hindi paniniwala.

Hinila ko ang sarili kong katawan papunta sa kama at humiga nang patagilid, nakatalikod sa kanya. Naramdaman kong nagtagal siya sa pwesto niya bago siya lumabas ng kwarto, tahimik na isinara ang pinto.

I thought I was dead dead, but I woke up as a baby, not just any baby, a baby monkey demon, and you wanna know who my dad was? Sun Wukong the Monkey King from LMK. I didn't know what to feel, but all I knew was that I got reincarnated a little ways before the Brotherhood attacked the Celestial Realm. Just like some reincarnation stories, I wasn't able to stop it, but as time went on, I went on this LMK journey, becoming friends with MK and the others, I think I even gained a crush. But what I've been wanting in my past life and this life was love.
